How to change the password of your cPanel account
Posted by Jacob, under cPanel TutorialsThere may be times where you would like to change the password of your account. I recommend to change your password at least once a month. I also recommend to have the password be alpha numeric , uppercase and lowercase letters , along with different character symbols in it. An example of a good password is: sf4_g@#X4
1. Click Change Password
2. In the box to the right of “Old Password:” , Provide your old password
3. In the box to right of “New Password:” provide the new password. This password should contain uppercase and lowercase letters , numbers , and non-numeric symbols (exp. %#$^&*%*) to have a strong password
4. In the box to the right of “New Password (again):” provide the password once again for verification.
5. Click Change your password
You have now just changed your password. Before you proceed, you may be prompted to re log back into cpanel.
